Mud slinging - but not as we know it

It's not often we can provide photographic evidence of contract publishers up to their neck in it, but that's exactly what's going to happen to four likely lads from Connect in the next few weeks.
Head torches will be donned by Jim Byers, James Cargill, Renny Hutchison and Scott Richmond on 20 March for The Mighty Deerstalker, one of the UK's toughest adventure races.
All in the name of charity - and bragging rights - the team will be shoulder-deep in ice-cold water, then caked in mud, before traversing two peaks, and a treacherous scree slope by moonlight near the village of Innerleithen in the Scottish Borders.
Connect's team hope to raise funds for Maggie's Cancer Care centres and have set up a page at www.justgiving.com/deerstalkerconnect. Senior account handler Jim Byers said: "It's a fantastic event and any help we can get for this vital charity will be very warmly received."
Entries for the 2010 race are still available at www.themightydeerstalker.com
