Connect retains contract to produce Angus Council magazine
Connect has beaten off competition from across Scotland to
retain the contract to produce Angus Life - Angus Council's
magazine for residents.
Nine agencies tendered for the contract, with our submission
offering the "best value" to the council in both cost and
quality.
Jenni Amos, the editor of Angus Life, said: "We are delighted to
be working once again with Connect Communications to produce our
residents' magazine.
"The input of everyone at Connect since the launch of the Angus
Life in 2006 has been instrumental in its development and success
and I look forward to building on our excellent relationship as we
take the publication forward."
Wendy Fenemore, Connect's managing editor, added: "Angus Life is a
great magazine - bright, newsy and colourful, it's packed with
exactly the kind of information that residents need from their
council.
"We're very pleased to have the opportunity to continue working
with Jenni and her team on Angus Life."
Angus Life - one of many titles Connect produces for local
authorities across the UK - is printed twice a year and is
distributed to more than 54,000 people across the county.
Connect will also continue to help Angus Council produce its
annual performance report, Putting You First.
