The latest issue of Scottish Dental Magazine gives details of the inaugural Scottish Dental Show

The launch of the new dedicated website
for the Scottish Dental Show - www.scottishdentalshow.co.uk - is featured in
the latest issue of Scottish Dental magazine, which is out now. The
new site includes details and booking information for the speaker
sessions, listings for the show's packed trade exhibition and the
launch of the Scottish Dental Lifetime Achievement Award. The event
takes place at Hampden Park on 24 and 25 May.
The February/March issue also
features an interview with the new dean of postgraduate dental
education at NHS Education for Scotland, Dr David Felix, who talks
about succeeding "probably the most successful dental dean in the
whole of the UK" - Dr Jim Rennie.
We also have an article on the Far East
exploits of Edinburgh dentist Madeleine Murray, who postponed a
successful specialist career to move with her husband and two young
children to Shanghai for five years.
The clinical section of the magazine
features an article from Crawford Bain - 'Should dentists be using
cheap implants?' - and Stuart Campbell and Paul Tipton from the
British Academy of Restorative Dentistry (BARD) present the first
in a series of articles from the BARD, this one on fixed/movable
bridgework.
Not to mention all the latest news from
the dental world north of the border, regular columnists Arthur
Dent and Alison McKenzie and much, much more.
