Robert Gordon University student begins internship
For six weeks, one media student will be discovering what Connect Communications is all about as part of a work placement.
Andreea Oniga, who is in her third year at the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, has joined the team to put the skills she has learned in her course so far to good use.
She will mainly be focusing on marketing and advertising, but is also very eager to get involved in design and editorial work.
Andreea said: "It is very exciting, but also daunting to be a part of the biggest name in contract publishing in Scotland and I aim to make the most of my experience at Connect. I am looking forward not only to learn as much as possible, but also to make a contribution to their work."
Senior communications consultant Daniel Lambie, who looks after our intern programme, said: "We're delighted to give people a helping hand as they begin their career in the media, especially in today's challenging job market. I'm sure Andreea will make a very positive contribution and we hope she benefits from the experience."
