Connect titles lead this year’s IOIC Communication Awards shortlist
The New Year has kicked off to a strong start for us here at Connect as we, alongside our clients, celebrate the news that we have been shortlisted for 11 IOIC Scotland Communication Awards.
Peter Nicholson and Jim Byers have both been nominated in the Writer/Editor of the year award, as well as this Peter's title, The Journal - is up for Best Redesign/Rebrand along with another of our client publications, InFocus. Jim's Scotch Malt Whisky Society title, Unfiltered has also been shortlisted in the Best Member Publication category.
In the Best Employee Newspaper category Connect dominated with three nominations out of a possible four for Historic Scotland's Historic Times, Sky's Skylife and FMC Technology's The Treehouse. The Glasgow Housing Association magazine, The Key, has also been recognised in the Best Stakeholder Magazine section while East Lothian Council's East Lothian Living and Midlothian Council's Midlothian News have been named in the Best Stakeholder Newspaper category.
The annual award ceremony that recognises outstanding achievement in all aspects of modern internal communications will take place in Glasgow on Friday 2 March.
