Tony Smith
Production Controller
Tony Smith is Connect's production controller - in his own words: "a gopher with attitude" - who makes sure things happen on time, within budget, and with the minimum of fuss.
In a previous life he was production director for a top ad agency, handling multi million pound deals, and reckons his top professional achievement was persuading Greenock Town Council (as was) to change the name of their local shopping centre to The Oak Mall.
Biggest personal achievement? Playing the role of dame in his local am dram panto!
Tony, who's a keen follower of rugby, has found the secret to good communications - never assume anything!
His historical hero is Hereward - England's William Wallace - and his motto is "Murphy is an optimist."

Alan Ramsay
Managing Director
Managing Director Alan Ramsay describes himself as a player-manager, juggling the strategic development of the business with his operational responsibilities. Alan looks after titles for, among others, Standard Life, Edinburgh City Council and Perth & Kinross Council.
A member of the board of Connect, he also heads up our operations management team - which has responsibility for running and developing our business.
A proud dad, he believes that the key to good communication is to keep to the point. As a former head of communications for one of the largest travel companies in the UK, he developed his motto: "Are we there yet?"

David Cameron
Chairman
David Cameron, Chairman of Connect, established the business in 1999. From a small operation based at his home, he quickly grew the business to be the market leading contract publisher in Scotland. A seasoned journalist and former news editor of the Scotsman, Scotland on Sunday and the Daily Express, David has used his experience and expertise to launch, build and evolve an award-winning business.
