Care News is produced for the Care Commission, and keeps stakeholders informed of changes in regulation and developments at the Commission. It also publishes examples of best practice from care services across Scotland.
It covers a broad range of services from childminders and early years services to care homes for older people.
Useful information regarding operations is covered, plus a regular complaint case to analyse where the care service was lacking and how it was improved. An audio version is produced on CD and an e-zine produced and distributed to fill the communications gap between Care News publication dates.
