There were plenty of reasons to celebrate for our client Wheatley Group after they swept the board at the prestigious IoIC Scotland awards, held in Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh recently.
Among Wheatley’s haul of gongs were two titles produced by Connect – Sheltered Housing News, which won the Best Printed Publication category, and W.E. Are Wheatley, named the best ezine.
Wheatley – Scotland’s leading housing, community regeneration and care group – also took home trophies for the Best Use of Copywriting and Storytelling and a highly commended for the Best Use of Social Media.
And to top off an incredible night, the team also won the overall Gold Award for Wheatley’s Real People, Real Voices campaign at the awards.
Connect account manager Wendy Fenemore said: “These awards celebrate the very best internal communications teams and publications in the country and I’m delighted at Wheatley’s success.
“The team has a real knack for producing magazines that perfectly meet the needs of their varied audiences, from staff to sheltered housing tenants, and the judges were quick to recognise this. We’re proud to share in their success.”
And Yvonne Flynn, Wheatley’s communications manager, added: “We were very pleased to be recognised at the IoIC awards this year, particularly for our publications. Connect is a key part of our success and we would like to thank them for the work they do with us.”
