The Sentinel connects IIRSM members
We are delighted to have produced the first edition of The Sentinel, the new magazine for the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM), as part of a new three-year publishing partnership.
Featuring a special feature on AI, a new qualification for risk managers, tips for travel wellbeing, and experts’ views on the prevention of another Grenfell disaster, the January/February 2020 issue of The Sentinel is packed full of interesting content for the charity’s 7,500 members.
Events, awards and webinars are also key to IIRSM’s membership programme. Connect is supporting the organisation’s Risk Excellence Awards and Annual Conference with social media and online promotion throughout the year.
The new magazine, published on a bi-monthly basis, replaces Insight magazine and Health and Safety at Work magazine and is sent to IIRSM members, most of whom are senior decision-makers.
Director of Marketing and Communications at IIRSM, Clare Fleming said: “The team here at IIRSM understands that keeping members up-to-date with the latest news and opinion, and providing access to technical information, is part of our role as a professional body. We are therefore delighted with our new magazine, part of an overall review of how we deliver topical content. We will work closely with members and partners to provide a resource that truly reflects the opinions and professional needs of our diverse membership network.”
Connect Chairman David Cameron said: “We firmly believe that access to high-quality content is an important part of membership of IIRSM. The magazine and social media campaigns look great thanks to our design and commercial teams.”
