Scottish Women’s Institutes TV hits 10,000 views

The YouTube channel we’ve created for Scottish Women’s Institutes (SWI) has reached a significant milestone with 10,000 views in its first few months.

Pauline Burnett, Account Manager for SWI, said: “From humble beginnings as a way of keeping members connected during the pandemic, this channel has grown in stature just as the women of the SWI’s confidence to showcase their talents has developed.”

“The SWI is about sharing skills, nurturing friendships and making connections, and this channel highlights the breadth of members’ interests and celebrates the fun and laughter the organisation fosters. It’s not only a great resource for members, but an important entry point for non-members to get a flavour of this vibrant Scottish gem.”

The channel, named Scottish Women’s Institutes TV, was created in December 2020 to offer Skill Share Sessions and Expert Talks for members and non-members, and content has been viewed across Scotland and around the world.

From learning crocheting, quilting or papercraft, to hearing experts talk about auction finds, health matters or glorious gardens, there’s something for everyone.
