A Winning Website for FCE
We are delighted that one of our clients, Forces Children’s Education (FCE), has received a bronze award from the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme for its contribution to helping Armed Forces families in Scotland.
The scheme recognises organisations which provide exceptional support to the military community.
FCE’s website has played a crucial part in this success. It is a source of information and support for Armed Forces families in Scotland and we are honoured to be part of this. We host and update the website, assisting with everything from code development and writing content to creating graphics to enhance the brand, creative design, images, and helping with any other required material.
National Transitions Officer Carolyn MacLeod, who runs the FCE website, said: “The Forces Children’s Education website is the first point of contact for Armed Forces families moving into Scotland, with information and resources to support their child’s education, and is a valuable tool for educators, professionals, and partnership groups. In recognition of this ongoing work the MOD had presented this Armed Forces Covenant award. Connect has provided creative guidance and professional support, playing a key role in the website’s success.”
Leanne McGrath, Account Manager for FCE, said: “We love working with Forces Children’s Education and we’re very proud not only to be involved in the continuous development of the website, but to be helping a valued client to achieve their engagement goals.”
Forces Children’s Education was created by the Association of Directors of Education in Scotland (ADES) and run by the National Transitions Officer, who is supported by the MOD Education Fund.
